Briefly describe the two development stages of the archive box
The development of the file box has gone through two stages.
The first stage: cardboard kraft paper, mixed file box
In a period of time, the archive boxes were relatively irregular and the craftsmanship was not superb. They were usually made of cardboard and kraft paper, just to facilitate file management. There were many problems with the archive boxes of this period, not only the size was cumbersome, but also the management was imperfect, making it difficult to manage archives well.
Second stage: acid-free paper file box
After this, the development of archive boxes entered the second period, which is acid-free paper archive boxes.
The acid content of the paper used in the archive file box is an indicator of its life. Acid-free paper refers to paper made with a pH of 7.0 or higher, and the lifespan can be as long as two hundred years.
